dam-break guidance — from breach-parameter empirical equations to routing methodology and
downstream hazard classification — so practitioners can find and compare the applicable
standards quickly.

River Morphology Atlas
An interactive multi-method web app for river morphology prediction and classification — the first of its kind to run several state-of-the-art methods side by side, with validity screening, an agreement dashboard, and full provenance for every number.
Two input modes: enter hydraulic characteristics manually (discharge, slope, D50, bank
vegetation…), or upload HEC-RAS 1D/2D output for automatic reach segmentation and a
per-reach morphological report. Built on modern classification methods (planform
predictors, hydraulic geometry, morphological quality indices) with every result traceable
to its source equation and publication.

Oman Cyclone Forecast — Local Interpretation
An interactive WebGIS replaying Cyclone Shaheen (2021) over Oman — AI forecast scenarios against what actually happened, sub-basin impact scores, and per-wilayat rainfall convergence.
Global cyclone forecasts rarely answer the question local decision-makers actually have:
what does this track mean for my catchment? This demo bridges that gap — a trilingual
decision map with a playable event timeline, 63 scored sub-basins, and two model
philosophies (ensemble and deterministic) compared on the same event.

Raise the water over real photogrammetry terrain and watch the inundation spread — a wetland river reach and the Colorado River in the Grand Canyon, with an adjustable flood-water surface, right in the browser.
Two real terrain scans, optimized for the web (43 MB → 4.4 MB) and loaded on demand. Move
the water-level slider or play the flood cycle to see inundation over real topography.
Illustrative visualization — the next step is coupling it to actual hydraulic results.

Reach-Scale Erosion Depth Calculator
A planned tool for computing erosion (scour) depth across different river reaches — comparing established scour equations per reach and flagging where their validity limits are exceeded.
Early-stage: methodology selection and reach characterization are being worked out. The
goal is a reach-by-reach erosion depth assessment that engineers can apply along an entire
river, not just at isolated structures.
